To all:

I was just taking a look at Neomagic (NMGC). They appear to be in a far superior position to S3, both in terms of company performance and investment potential. Like S3, NMGC has just slid to all time lows, and sports about the same market cap. However, NMGC is selling at a p/e of 12 and is doubling or tripling revenues and earnings on y/y basis. Plus it has high margins (due to notebooks). And it has a small float. And 4 strong buys. They have surprised on the upside their last 5 quarters earnings. H&Q has a $22 price target. Its last earnings statement is enough to make an S3 stalwart drool: gross margins of 42%, net income of 14%. Finally, it has $3/share in cash. Sort of reminds me about S3 circa 2 years ago (except for the part about GJ trashing the company). Can someone tell me what they think about NMGC vs. S3 in terms of investment?? I think it would interesting for all on this thread.
