I think everyone on this thread considers me an idiot. Let me explain.

For the first time in the history of MPUs, AMD has delivered a CPU that is ahead or equivalent to the Klamath (in fact, the thermal envelope of K6 is within Pentium - meaning it as a ready made market place - i.e., notebooks (PPro con't even consider it)). AMD will sell every K6 it can make (either to a top tier OEM or any other box maker (in fact, due to volume discounts, it would be better, from a pure financial prospective, to ship to non-top tier OEMs).

If AMD can develop the chip, the folks at AMD can manufacture the chip. The folks at AMD who manufacture are the best at what the do.

I think AMD is a screaming BUY at these levels.

In 12 months I think we will see 40+.

If you are weary, monitor the developments of AMD over the next 12 months (but along they way don't forget to BUY).

Regards.
