To anyone - I have the opportunity to buy a used Toshiba Laptop
from a friend,who is into computers.He's used it very little,and basically only to run his navigation software while on his sailboat.
It's a Pentium 133,16mg,750mg HD,has a cd driver,but no floppy, dual scan display....$800 I haven't seen it,so I'm not sure of the display size and think it's about 1 1/2 yo. What I use now is an older reburbished Dell laptop and have never had trouble (2 yr),so I'm tempted to check that route out again also(would only like to spend $1000 or less)..But what do you think of the one I mentioned? PS: Sergio,could you do me a favor and check out GMP's last few press releases about the "poison pill" and give me your opinion-anyone? Actually a favor for my father,he just sold(a bit to late,IMO..but -buy and hold is his motto,and he is retired young<g>) 2000 sh.,but is still holding quite a few (like I said..reinvested dividends add up in 20 years<g>) |
