Hi James,
You raise a number of valid points, but are wrong about one thing. As a Canadian, my grand kids won't be paying for it. We have had our own banking fiascoes with Brazil, etc. and wound up paying for them in vastly inflated bank service charges. When I owned a small business, I used to ask the bank if I would get a better package if I spoke Spanish < G > .
Seriously, if I only posted articles that were 100% correct, I would only post once a year. Sometimes there is only one or two items in an article which I find interesting or significant. In this case, for me it was the acknowledgment that Japan's bad loans had risen to 600+ billion US$. Just like Korea and Indonesia, this figure has been creeping up each month and at this rate will probably eventually top a trillion US$ when they finally own up to it all.
Grab a cool one, relax and have a great weekend. Life is short and neither of us are going to change the way politicians, big money or their 'stooges' communicate with us.
Regards,
John |
