it appears qualcomm is cdma technology, and working with afritel, vodacom has exclusive rights for analog cellular i believe with afritel and this may be an indication of who is currently in africa... compans.com these were found by using excite and searching on afritel, there is a map of qualcomm's indicating the countries they are involved in, would lead me to guess afritel will follow...the vodacom info is there as well.
