Royal Oak Mines faces a $320,000 suit from an unhappy supplier to its Kemess South mine project. In a statement of claim filed Thursday in B.C. Supreme Court, Hampton Power Products, based in Ontario, claims it supplied $419,613 of assorted electrical equipment related to ore processing for the mine from November to February, but Royal Oak has only paid $100,000 to date. Lawyer Simon Read of Vancouver seeks $319,613. A statement of defence has not yet been filed.
