Leslie,
Forgive me if I'm incoherent, but I just tried and failed to have a conversation on the Yahoo bozo boards with someone who must be one of the 14 most dense people I've ever encountered. I have sworn off the Yahoo boards forever. Long live boards that charge their members and keep out the rifraf!

This is where I stand. I cry a tear each night when I think about the woulda shouldas of selling at $45, but I'm a long term investor (yes, a rare quantity on the bozo boards). My investing friends and I like to indentify trends and ride them through thick and thin (right now we're in thin for PDD). My finance friend analyzed their numbers and said that to him it looks fine and he hopes we've just hit a 'bump in the road.'

Overall, this is my stance: We are the MOST LITIGIOUS COUNTRY on the planet. According to the ABA the US has 50% of all the lawyers in the whole world. Then on top of that we have an entire country of people trying to create what my wife's uncle calls a "riskless society." People are unwilling to take responsibility for their own actions. People are suing for everything. People die because they chose to smoke and they sue. A woman is actually suing Pfizer because her husband left her after taking Viagra. Great googly moogly!

And here we have a company that sells these services so that people can sign up for and sue whoever, whenever. Ya gotta love America.

Unfortunately, there's always that chance their a hoax (though being around for 20 years and being covered by Salomon make those chances rather low). People call it a pyramid or ponzi scheme, but so's Amway and they're still around.

My ABSOLUTE OUTRIGHT GUESS is that there's some bad news in the pipeline. I don't see the insider selling (Stoncipher sold only 14.6% of his shares - which is esentially nothing). How far is down is the only question. Stocks rarely break through their 200 MA for no reason. I got in low and don't want to realize any capital gains in '98 so I'm in long just like Lynch and Buffett (no Lynch and Buffett are not in PPD, don't start that rumor).

Good luck,
Rob
