James,

I believe that the street has been waiting to take some big profits on PFE for some time and will use this non-approval of Zeldox to rationalize a sell-off. Pfizer's transient rise above 120 was a manifestation of the market's wild early enthusiasm over Viagra and was not sustained.

I think that many major players are more than a little concerned over Pfizer's huge PE and amazing run over the last several months. A significant correction now would be a very healthy thing (and also allow the analysts to better defend their buy recommendations) while giving us all a great buying opportunity.

Pfizer's pipeline remains the strongest in the industry and trimming a little fat from the meat won't hurt this company (IMO).
