If we're on the subject of unbelievable spelling errors in Company press releases, check out HCCA. This health care company decided that it wanted to mine palladium. In the release announcing this event, they spelled it "palliduim" - in the headline of the release. Of course, since a previous release announced the purchase of a design for a revolutionary helicopter from a fellow whose sole claim to fame was that he's been Lawrence Welk's tenor for the last 40 years (I'm not kidding), this should perhaps come as no surprise.

Granted, this doesn't really fit under "thread morons", though there's clearly a moron in the woodpile somewhere. Perhaps we should have a "moronic press releases" thread. Of course, if we count the people hyping this stock on several dozen threads, or the people who actually fall for the hype, we might conceivably find a thread moron or two.
