Thanks for the feedback. Maybe something positive will come out of Ancor's relationship with Litton and Boeing. I wonder if they have contacted Western Atlas. It used to be part of Litton until the company was split in half. They specialize in hi-tech oil exploration. Maybe they need Fibre Channel switches. They just announced they are merging with another company (Baker Hughes or something like that) and will do $5 billion per year.

I would think the military market for Fibre Channel would be quite large. Once the military gets going with these systems there will be a big market selling product to companies that ruggedize and sell to prime contractors. Since the military seems to only want Class 1 it would be great for Ancor. It's too bad the military doesn't give Ancor a contract to help further develop its technology for military purposes.
A contract issued to a storage vendor to work with Ancor to develop Class 1 storage eliminating the need for servers might be beneficial to national security. Maybe this is what will happen with the Litton Ancor arrangement or the Boeing Ancor deals. Just wishful thinking of course, but you never know.

Thanks,
Joe
