Thanks. I misunderstood the intent of your original post. Cable modems may be the next step. I have one and think it"s great. Always on, and very fast. So far, bandwidth increases for most people have collided with increased use, resulting in minimal gains in real world application and access speed.. Unlike George Guilder, I think it will be a long time before bandwidth is almost free.
I too own CYMI. It has been one of my worst investments, second only to holding Innovex long past the time I should have sold it. I'm tempted to buy more CYMI, since it has massive support around 14 3/4. However averaging down is often a subtle way for one to avoid admitting he has made a dumb move in the first place. Cymer has overcapacity, which is very expensive to them, yet in the long run this may be needed for fab makers to commit to a process controlled by one supplier.
