Ronaldo,

Germany dodged a bullet today. They looked so pathetic so slow so OLD today up until the first goal, a gift from the god of luck!!(Who said luck doesn't matter?). Then they showed a little of the game we are accustomed to see from the Germans and almost won it at the end. But if Germany plays like that for 15-20 mins a game do not expect to go further than the second round. Yugos the big f***ups could have put the game away so easily, they could be up by at least four or even five goals. But true to their culture they self-destructed. Anyway, they showed they are a superior team and USA will need a miracle to beat them (a tie will not do it ASSUMING USA beats Iran).

Ronaldo, the argentine commentator you listened to needs a new job!! This was one of the best officiating games in the World Cup so far IMO. The official let them PLAY, no need to call games so tightly as we have seen before. And he did not call fouls on the dives of the Yugos (mostly Mijatovic, what a diver!). I have the same style when I referee I let them play the game, no need to destroy it by calling a foul on each small push going for the ball or the slightest dive!

"Tango will cream calypso, sorry if I hurt your feelings <g>"

Probably so, but I can still dream cant'I?

Still waiting to see the new Maradona, his name starts with Or... or something like that. Sorry I could not locate him in the Japan game<g>

I just couldn't believe I was celebrating Germany's goals...very out of character for me. But I was doing it for USA's sake. I hope the USA-Iran games is a clean one and both teams display professionalism and goodwill. I wish they could both advance but they probably won't.

I was never a fan of Argentina. First, they beat Holland in 1978 and I cried so much after that. Then it was Maradona scoring that infamous goal against a better England team (that day). Then it was that awful 1990 team whose only purpose was to destroy the name of football...sorry no fan. I prefer Brazil, they are always fun to watch. Oh to top it all off, it was the 4-0 score against Greece in 1994 you should have showed some mercy<gg>.

Nothing personal Ronaldo. By the way you have a great name<g>

On with the reggaeboyz, hoping the biggest upset which we still have not seen in this World Cup.

George
