PistolPete, I like the humor of comparing the FNTN system to the same simplicity as a car wash system. If such is the case, then Siemens can sell THE SAME model (hardware + software),so to say, to Yahoo. I do not know, one way or the other, that such is the case. While the hardware is not likely customized, SOME of the software might very well have been custom ordered and written and sold to FNTN as a semi exclusive copy-righted product. But I dont know one way or the other. I have worked in a software house and exclusivity was a topic of discussion with the clients and the cost to a client was lower if the exclusivity was not desired. Generally clients shared in the benefits of new releases brought forth by improvements ordered by other clients.

Business success,however, is another issue. The features Yahoo has in their website can be re-programmed, with different names to avoid the copyright issue. The First to market is the advantage Yahoo is enjoying when they add features. Hopefully, FNTN will have its own brand of First to market ideas and the exclusivity will not even be an issue. But your point is well taken and I personally was viewing Siemens relationship as more of a symbol of FNTN being a real company and and not a virtual entity. My decision to buy and hold their stock has been the result of an assurance of FNTN being a real company with a real idea whose time has come. The revenue growth and re-alignments that may occur are still subject to speculation, wherein comes in risk and reward.
