Your numbers are much better. This is how to calculate EPS for the 1998 calandar year, not Sigma's fiscal year:

Last Q, $9M in revenue was non-DVD.

$40M non-DVD seems reasonable. Lets just add $20M for DVD(They had $1.3M last Q. It needs to grow.)

Revenue: $60M

COG: $42.6M ( this should improve as volume can be shipped, but it's based on last Q's 29% gross margins.)

Gross revenue: $17.5M

R&D: $6M

SG&A: $8M

Revenue before taxes: $3.4M

Taxes: $.5M(they have a lot of losses to carry forward. I'm using a 16% tax rate. In my experience, it seems right.)

Net: $2.9M

Shares: 12M( option could end-up in the money for employees. Always expect more shares)

1998 calandar year EPS = $.24. First 3 Qs of fiscal 1999(Q4-1998 was nil).

Note: gross margins should improve and add. Taxes are an estimate without knowledge of all factors involed. I added reasonable amounts to R&D and SG&A.

Sigma has to deal with a shareholder suit, could be a one time charge.
