I am sitting in the most comfortable seat in the house. I played with some ratios. Sitting 3 ft from a 21 in monitor is about equal to sitting 8 ft from an 80 in big screen. The resolution of the computer screen is much higher. A good pair of head phones makes a pretty good sound system and it will not wake the neighbors. Ideas Extra PCI slot: 1. Ethernet card for future InterJetNet 2. Graphics card for more monitors - Thursday $89 Win 98 upgrade! Right on. The ethernet card is already installed but I do not have the network functioning yet. I will have two monitors. The MII PCI card now in place and I will reinstall the G100 AGP card for the second monitor when Win98 comes out and I find a good deal on a 21 in monitor. Two monitors is all I have room for. Hopefully it will be two 21 in monitors. (maybe each with virtual resolution??) I might break down and get the Matrox G200 AGP card when it comes out. Is this the first computer birth from this thread? I think it is. Congratulations, even though it wasn't planned! My thanks to you and ALL thread participants. Without all of the input I probably would have picked another machine off the shelf. I am a bit behind with the thread index. I still need to load a lot of software and establish a connection the the host. I should be back in full swing in about a week. Zeuspaul
