Richard,
Intervention has worked in the past if it is big enough with enough central bank allies. Perceptions change quickly. Japan will move at its own pace. I am in the minority on this, but I cannot believe something is not going on behind the scenes to keep the yen from moving much lower.
We should review this in two weeks.
