G.B. or anyone else that can answer......This probably not even a trading 101 question, it is so dumb. What are capital gain taxes. I used the investing dictionary you gave me the link for but still did not understand.

Last year I had losses so didn't have to worry about this. Is capital gains tax a higher tax than plain old income tax percentage wise. Sorry if this came up before.
