Jess,

if the bad debt amount is $3 trillion and up, I think all hell will break loose. The longer the Japanese delays any type of plan, the more likelihood that the $500 billion public number is closer to your estimates.

I am hedging my portfolio with some July index puts (OEX and SPX) now, may change them in for a later expiration. Also have some shorts dangling out there. May have to go all cash until the dust clears.
