Gator: I am not familiar with this thread or person but I believe he is absolutely correct. Oil and gold are about the only stocks I will be holding in the next...I don't know how long. The spanner in the works is if the market takes a tumble this year, then what, jump back in? What about Y2K? Although, many say the problems will start surfacing 01-01-99. This is the most uncertain of times. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Also, I now know what it feels like to watch your money drain away day after day and I don't like it at all. Not to mention, why hold equities now when you can pick them on sale later when they pay a decent dividend.
