Hey Dennis. Last split, CSCO ran up before and after the split and it's still running. I rounded up a bunch of cash to buy on the 3rd quarter dip and it never came. It's a good thing I own a bunch, but I still wish I owned more. You've got the right idea about just buying the leader. When I first bought CSCO, I bought some Cabletron as well, because at the time they were growing fast. I escaped Cabletron just before they tanked luckily, but since then I've stuck to the best for the most part and that tactic has worked pretty well (one notable exception is that I own PSFT instead of SAP and that has not panned out for me yet). Anyway, good luck.
