Thanks for the post BO BOB,
While I'm skeptical of the first part of the article, dealing with the software remediation, maybe it is true, but at least testing it after it is fixed surely is much more time consuming. Embedded systems is a slow fix all the way.
The second part of the article, dealing with the likely effects of Y2K, runs right along the lines of my perception of what will happen.
We are not doomed to catastrophe, just inconvenienced.
