Rudedog - I'm pretty familiar with cable modem and ADSL for 'desktop' PC's, but have not heard anything about the feasibility of both on a laptop. It would seem that ADSL would be physically easier (you don't have to run a coax cable across your room to plug the laptop in), are there any other hardware gotchas that you are aware of? (Such as how hard will it be to put cable modems and ADSL modems into the PC card format)...

Thanks,
John
