Reading the Bosco-Stockman point/counterpoint reminded me of a couple of thoughts...
1) I find it interesting that this thread has gone from buying into the LU buying Bay rumors to now assuming that it was a crime that it didn't happen. It just might be possible that LU does not want to buy Bay (either now or in October) and knowing that, Bay did the next best thing...Shouldn't this at least be considered a possibility?
2) And, it is wrong to read anything more into these kind of shareholder lawsuits except that you can't please everybody all the time and people CAN sue. Unfortunately, in our society, if people can sue, they will find a reason to. I seem to recall that lawsuits have popped up at every major merger/acquisition over the past few years.
