Thks for the post G, GREENLINE TD Bank
I wrote John Gee(Pres) about this and the answer was use the US money mkt fund, this is a pain, (has to be done by phone and no visibility to it on web for a few days and the last time I used it, I spent 15mins with the trader. My letter was about the greedy spreads(and how their competitors were less), which is(was) approx 1% each side.. They seem to have reduced it lately, however it is simple to find out what it is, just ask them what the buy and sell rates are...

My experieince is that Investorline(BkofMtl) has the best spreads, quite often less than 1/2% each side..
Scott

PS: I dont particularly like TD, however for US trades and micromax they are the best. E-Trade is a joke and Action Direct, I cancelled my account, too amateur for me...
