Addi, Don't let anyone pull the wool over your eyes and tell you there is no such thing as a literal hell. Only a fool could suggest such a thing. Jesus spoke more about hell than He did heaven. He also said that unless one was born again they shall not make it into heaven. As to animals, nowhere in the scriptures does it say that God breathed life into them as he did Adam. Therefore they are not made immortal, once they die that's the end. Man, is accountable to God for his actions and there will be a day a reckoning. God promises it. Man is immortal but there are only two destinations , hell of heaven. Chris
