The continuing lack of any U.S. foreign policy heightens the chances that China will make a grab for Taiwan. This is especially true as economic recession/depression grips that continent. I also think N. Korea (Chinese inspired) will try to make a grab for S. Korea. China would love nothing better then to have 2 competitors out of the picture.
