Paul - What kind of question is that (smart heuh??). Well, of course they were 12 1/2, else my poat would have been senseless. As for premium, I am not sure but I think it was either 3/4 or 5/8. But, as I said, at Schwab, it happened several times. Once a stock closed 5/8 in the money (relative to the strike price) and I couldn't believe when I called Schwab on Monday mornings and learned that I still had the stock (the stock was VICR and I had replaced my shares on Friday thinking the shares will go away, for sure, they didn't and next morning the stock was up almost a whole 1 point -- later on I lost the stock that way and missed some upside). In all, I love selling covered call. You want to make money, for sure (?!?! -- as if such a thing exists in the market) sell both calls and puts simultaneousely on the OEX (at the nearby strike price) and hold through expiration. You must, however, have a lot of margin potential to do so (such as holding LT bonds etc...) Ghassan.
