The World's standard for multimedia e-mail poses even more of a threat than distributed objects (ActiveX and Java components) and the one company with a real foothold in that area is Dr. Solomon. MIME is the standard format (Multi-purpose Internet Mail Extensions) and Dr. Solomon's MIMESweeper is really a cutting edge product which I believe will be bundled in a business package with Lotus Notes. Unfortunately, MCAF can't even spell MIME and is unlikely to stop hyping the company and the stock long enough to realize their warmed over DOS product isn't worth the disk it's written on. Dr. Solomon presents clear danger to MCAF's existence.
