MMV, Once again, Galbraith is right on about the dangers and excesses of capitalism. His fault is that he was slow to recognize the dangers of socialism.

The over-speculation will end and it will not end well. Never does. Most folks know this, but they don't understand what it really means. They know that paying big money for an Amazon.com is speculative. But they don't understand that paying 50 times eps for a Coke that is growing at a rate in the teens is also speculating wildly on lower interest rates.

Still, my favorite JKG quote was on the book jacket of William F. Buckley's first novel, "Saving The Queen." He said, "Buckley has a great talent for fiction, something his more discerning readers have known for years." <G>
