NEW YORK, June 22 (Reuters) - Brown Brothers Harriman
analyst Mary Ann Winter said Monday she lowered her long-term
rating on Walt Disney Co. to neutral from buy.
-- Kept short-term rating at neutral.
-- Cited concerns about Disney's creative content business,
which includes areas like films and consumer products, over the
next few quarters. Winter expressed particular concern about
the creative content business in Japan, which she said "has
been a source of great growth."
-- Winter said she was not as concerned about theme park
results, noting the strong employment picture in the U.S.
presented a favorable climate for tourism.
-- Cut 1998 earnings estimate to $3 a share from $3.15.
-- Cut 1999 earnings estimate to $3.55 a share from $3.70.
