But who was dumping? How did they know to dump? Could it have been word from one of the OEMs? Did an analyst get wind of the shortfall?

That's one of the mysteries I've been seeking constant answers to. During the course of my market participation, I've seen stocks just mysteriously deteriorate, only to have it weaken further upon a news release warning of poor results.

Why did the stock price weaken prior to the release? I don't know. The truth may never be found out by the non-institutional investor. But I assume answers can always be found from internal company progress reports, and it is likely that major investors were warned of the coming developments.

For now, I guess I better take a neutral stance about the recent actions of management. We'll be able to better judge when the facts are established and are more apparent.

Regards,

Rainier
