I just got back from Mexico. I know a geologist in Culiacan, a city close to the mine. I asked him to check on the owner and the situation on that end. The following paragraph is the information he passed on to me.
It seem that there is not a very good relationship between the owner and Ms. Perfect and Mr. Muir. The word is he does not trust them. They already tried to renegotiate the last deal to give him stock in lieu of cash. The owner is doing all the exploration for them (when they pay him), but has been doing zero (as in no exploration) for some time. Mr. Marshall left some time ago, and there has been no one to replace him until recently. Management has brought in a new person (has Mr. Marshall left, been fired?), who was also not there when my contact was collecting the information for me.
In checking on Mr. Muir and Ms. Perfect, it is rumored that one or both have had legal problems with the Vancouver Stock Exchange and/or the Alberta Stock Exchange. I have not received verification of these issues, nor do I know how serious they were. I suggest you check on it for independent verification.
I am still trying to contact Mr. VanHoucken, as I think he will be an excellent source of information. Even though the company has not announced it, I am sure Mr. VanHoucken has resigned. According to information from Mexico, the main reason (only reason) that PTHR got the agreement with Jaime Guinea, of Minera Humaya, was due to the efforts of Mr. Van Houcken, whom Mr. Guinea seems to trust.
This is intended as a service to inform others who may not have the ability I have to obtain information. And, yes, in my opinion, the stock is going down....... and I do not want others to lose money in this company. I will continue to supply information as it is received. Remember to sort rumors from fact. Form your own opinions.
