Jetter: If you want (almost) absolute certainty that management will fulfill all of their promises on time, buy DELL. I know this from experience. I still own a lot of DELL and it is one of my top 2 holdings. DELL has executed in a big way and developed a very strong track record. Along the way investors have reaped great rewards. With DGIV you are investing in a firm that is seeking to be a pioneer in an emerging market that no-one completely understands.
DGIV is still a new company and from my DD and conversations with management I am confident that they are commited to generating great returns for their shareholders. It would be easier for DGIV if they were owned by Paul Allen and they had his billions backing their vision. Yet, they are public and working hard to develop a global internet telephony network. DGIV is also trying to satisfy important requirements for the nasdaq small cap exchange. They have not met every deadline on time but they are commited to a quality outcome that all shareholders can be proud of. I feel quite certain that DGIV will reach its full potential and become a very successful nasdaq company.
If you want more certainty that management will execute in a big way on time, invest in DELL. If you want to balance your portfolio and invest in an incredible new pioneer (that could have more upside in the next 5 years), make sure that you own DELL and DGIV. I am a long term investor who takes calculated risks. In the mid 90s DELL looked out of favor. The rest is history. According to some naysayers, DGIV is out of favor. Problems (meeting aggressive investor deadlines) create great buying opportunities. IMHO, buy DGIV when "it is out of favor" and hold a couple of years. You'll be glad you did. Patience will pay off for smart investors. Byron and many others realize this.

Good Luck with your investing decisions.
