I've got a thought that I can't dismiss and wonder if some of you
close observers could comment. Relating to events surrounding
the Japanese economy and Yen value in the context of China's status.

Geo-political-economical dominance over South East Asia has
traditionally been Japan. China has become more and more
important to the point that China is now taking the lead.

US move to support the Yen apparently was targeted to comply
with China's threat to devalue. So, Japan must swallow
tough medicine to aid the region but bottom-line, it is at China's
insistance.

So, will Japan resist the moves (RTC-flavor) which run the
real risk of creating a confidence crisis for themselves.
Additionally, would not Japan resist China's new dominance.
