Re: 18,000 shares

The old adage "if it sounds too good to be true..." may be applicable here. While we all like to imagine getting rich on "ground floor" opportunities, a surprising amount of money can be made on "fifth floor", "tenth floor", etc. opportunities, with a lot less heartache. If ATCO really "has the goods" the real money will still lay ahead of it a year or two from now. There is no need to gamble. Real opportunities associated with breakthrough technologies don't vanish overnight. Sure, we'd be rich if we'd "bet it all" on Intel back in the 70s (and had the guts to hold), but the INTC bought as recently as last year is doing just fine.

ATCO is a momentum play at this point, pure and simple. Once they start selling a real product (at a real profit) which shows broad acceptance, that's the time to take a stake. You'd still be getting in long before the stock is "discovered", but now you'd be able to sleep at nights.

The short answer is nobody knows where ATCO is going to go over the next few months. All we've heard is reports that they may have some breakthrough audio technology. For far less then the price of 18,000 shares you can visit ATCO and Carver in person, maybe even sign up to be an early evaluator of one of the Carver units which may be produced. Don't be afraid to invest some time in a company before you invest your money. It is your hard-earned money after all.
