M.Dell,"...our product is not a commodity, look at recent PC magazine satisfaction results if this was a commodity than client satisfaction would not matter...we are in early part of PC industry the penetration rate is low, only 3 1/2% have computers, could rival telephone usuage,lots of untapped markets...we could do better than anyone in the sub 1k but profit is not in these units...we have 7% of PC market and we want 20% in the next few years...expanding market share is a top priority for us...no dramamatic product shift, yet looking at servers, workstations, etc, which have bigger margins...no real extraordinary security measures in China since factories don't cost that much to be honest and there is not a real security risk...emerging nations certainly represent stops and starts and we adjust for this fact..."
