Thanks for the post, important subject.

It is important for you to either keep your shares in certificate form or to keep them in a cash only account. The only way the depository can "borrow" your shares is if they are held in any sort of margin account. However, I have seen exceptions to the above rule, so if you are really concerned about this, request "physical delivery" from your broker and keep yuor shares in a safe or safty deposit box.

My understanding is that aproximately 10% of the FP have bought stock.
