Hi, Ann, and welcome back! How was the vacation? Kind of a silly question, like, how is money, or something. Anyway, we expect a report when you get caught up. :-) Some articles on the Intel thread are quoting people calling for the end of the semiconductor slide. They don't see an immediate pickup, but at least a bottom of the trough and things not getting any worse sales-wise any more. For actual pickup of sales, they're saying in six months or so. Another piece of news that may have given a kick is Intel testing Rambus RDRAM, the latest and greatest in DRAM (main memory for all computers, including PCs). Rambus up 7 11/16! Finally, Intel spent a cool billion on 20% of LG Semicon, a Korean company that is making RDRAM. Whatever, we'll take +3 13/16! Hope the first day back went well. Tony
