Anyone who is not reading the Golden Eagle (MINE) thread Subject 8334 or its sister thread "How I spent MINE money:the SI Millionaires Club" Subject 21178 is missing out on some vintage inanity. There are plenty of individually moronic posts but the thread is best appreciated as a fast paced, stream of consciousness stupidity. As an example, the SEC has just ordered a halt in trading due to insufficient and misleading information. Many on the thread have convinced themselves this is a good thing and have offered various explanations why. The following is but one of many explanations: Other Geologists, ex Barricks people and Newmont people. This is too big for the SEC to comprehend and need verification. My attitude has changed dramatically, i am now supremely confident in our Company As background the company claims to have a Bolivian gold property with 6 million ounces of proven reserves and as much as 200 million ounces of implied reserves (triple the Bre-X max) based on a report of their independent mining engineer Guido Paravicini with no third party verification.
