AL R / Oil Supply - Demand

Our darkest hour. I wish I had a book about Winston Churchill or Franklin Roosevelt. I would love to quote them and relate it to the situation we have in regards to conditions facing the oil & gas industry.

All of us probably have memory of the 1940's, but we need only to go back a decade to see where we are today and more importantly - where we will be going tomorrow. Wouldn't you of been a happy camper if you bought shares in the oil companies in the late 80's and took profits in the 90's.

When in the darkest times, buy into the companies which sell the black stuff. Buying into an unpopular sector with future foresight is one of the best methods I am aware of for providing good return on your investments. At this time and in my view, oil is the investment for the next decade. As the world grows and countries develop, oil will always be in increasing demand. Yes, this is not the first time, nor will it be the last, when the price of oil skids to the lower end of the historical price swing. But now that we are there, it's time to accumulate shares in those companies which have promise in the future.
