Steve:

But you do need to know! What happened in those missing years shaped his life. For many of those years he traveled through India and spent several years in Tibet studying with the lamas. There is no doubt he was a brilliant man as he learned the many dialects of India, as well as Latin, Greek and Arabic. Then added the somewhat arcane language of Tibet to his repertoire!

As for who did as much in three years? Alexander the Great did. His legacy still affects our civilization today, though most are ignorant of the impact.

Aristotle did, and as far as Reason, his impact today is greater than at any time in history.

A recent christian convention (last year) concluded that the only words they could absolutely attribute to Jesus (after lengthy comparisons and notes) was ONE. That's right, only ONE.
