This type of posturing is typical in this business. Notice there are no material facts. The article is filled with speculations designed to garner customer response. This is how this industry does an opinion poll. It is clear that Eckhard Pfeiffer desires to replace Intel as the industry's influence leader. In his dreams he wants the CPU to be a cheap commodity like all other PC components. Personally I don't think he will succeed and I think he is doing grave injury to Compaq in the attempt. Jeff
