Andy, you and mudrat are missing the boat. My original comment was:

<< (by the way, ignore tonyt's comments about the BOP. He complains, all the time, about so much, that it hard to take him seriously.) >>

As you can see, the BOP is a minor part of the basic meaning of my note. I consider comments from tonyt similar to comments from the "boy who yelled wolf too many times". I'm sure that you are familiar with that old childrens' tale.

tonyt, and company, complain so much, that you never know when to take them seriously. Sometimes they post notes that seem to show genuine interest in LGND, and many times they act like people with no money in the market; just here to complain, and whine, as long as someone will listen.

I leave you with a quote from George Stasen's well researched article:

"Nothing is certain in hormonal research and development, but the critical elements appear in place to justify calling LGND a "future stock". The extraordinary breadth of Ligand's R&D activities seem to have gone unnoticed by the street. It's been up hill and down dale for the stock, but think of what happens when Street skepticism is dispelled."

The article sounded a little bit like Henry talking. I was wondering if Henry was writing under an alias.

By the way, anyone know who was the company's 1985 scientific discoverer?

Good luck, Bob
