Brian,>I believe Paul was questioning whether AMAT had ever traded in the teens on an absolute basis, not split-adjusted. I think you answered that question: No.<

According to my data, I believe in 1991 AMAT had a low of $19.20 but that was the lowest. Since then, I believe the lows on an "absolute" basis was $21.80 in 1996, $26.375 in 1997 and the recent low of $26.

However, I do not know the circumstance surrounding the years prior to 1996. Any AMAT'S who has the answers please speak up.

Does anyone have other numbers. Please correct me.

Paul V.
