Steve and ALL:
I say we still do some flaming to Briefing.com (if we got the energy) because this is just a flashpoint of the badmouthing that they have given 3Com for a while, not to mention other articles that purport to have evidence or facts about something when they just plain don't.
Reminds me of high school, when one person would write a homework report, and half-the class would just copy it from eachother with different wording. That's what lots of these ANALysts and journalists do.
They also know that many (majority of COMS holders) of us have given up on a company like COMS, so they feed on this anger to make the readers feel good and sell subscriptions. IMO that's what's made this stock drop from 35 to 25!! No news, just a play to people's emotions. For the last 3-4 months, this thread has talked about how COMS has been at the bottom since the last 2 earnings report. Both were around .04c, so wouldn't you think after two such quarters that the stock would already be at the bottom? My conspiracy mind says that some agile deep pockets took advantage of the fear, exaggerated it, and scared off even more people from the stock.
Another thing, is it just me, or did I get the sense that the apology from Briefing.com was "weasle-like"? Reminds me of a kid caught in trouble, trying to explain away some of his bad behavior. The apology might have been acceptable if it had stopped at...
