Craig,
I have been hearing for the longest time about what great guys Ancor has in management. May I remind you, that Jimmy Carter was one of the nicest and most personal presidents this country has ever had. No body questioned his sincerity, honesty or work ethic. He had one big problem though...he couldn't do the job. Inflation was out of sight. Right here and now, those are my feelings concerning Ken, Cal, and Steve. They may be great guys with impressive resumes, but their work at Ancor amounts to less than squat at this point. And Carla, what in the world does she get paid to do? We can mark the months between press releases, and those they have are nothing more than words. All of this would be excusable if there were no contracts being awarded. Evidently, nobody has told Brocade that business is slow. 3 and 9/32 late June, 1998. I mean, do you really believe your eyes when you see that price? Ancor put fibre channel in the text books, and it doesn't even appear to be a viable company. I think the board should meet and decide on a different course of action. My recommendation would be to try and find a buyer for this company and hopefully salvage some respectability to the shareholders who held on so long. I'd sure like to think otherwise, but they give us absolutely nothing to even hang our hopes on. IMO |
