Charles, as you may know, former presidential candidate Pat Robertson has predicted that Disney World will be the next site visited by a nasty tornado. According to Pat, it is the hand of God punishing gays. Lashing them, I guess. I wonder if Trent Lott agrees. There are many of us in the world, however, who think God has nothing to do with the abnormal spate of tornados, fires, rainstorms, droughts, and other extremes that the Earth has been undergoing. Most people attribute these events to El Nino and/or global warming caused largely by the use of fossil fuels, or, more radically, a new galactic spin cycle with consequences unknown. Who knows, we may soon be facing a weather event so calamitous that the US government might have to take action and tax fossil fuels, which, provided homo sapiens survive, would make GRNO look good.
