I think people are over-reacting to Dell's endorsement of USRX's 56K for the following two reasons:

(1) Traditionally, Dell computer focuses on corporation and does not use much modems---most forture 1000 companies do not have analog phone jack in their office/cubicle--most are digital PBX's;

(2) The bigger problems are that big PC companies, other than Dell, are not endorsing USRX's 56K---this is the biggest problems that will cause market segmentation of 56K modems.
