They expect the merger to go through in the third quarter, any idea what approximate date that might be ?? In response to your question, I believe Merrill's share price will play a large role in Midland's value due to the fact that the merger was made in a stock offering. It was down almost $3 U.S. today. Analysts on both sides of the border are extremely positive on the merger so we should see the stock hold its present value or gain a little tommorro.
