Rambabu - Thanks for the link. Use some caution here. As a rule, (you know it too) that any software project is UNDER-ESTIMATED and delayed, because programmers do not know how much work is involved and the client changes the job scope.
(give your client a quote, run out of time or money, then try to complete the job without the pay because your reputation is at stake.)
Avoid this trap at all costs, as y2k investors! Just because there is under-estimation, the y2k companies may be or maybe not going to get more than what we originally expected. Basically, y2k companies are like "funnels" or "rain water collectors". Let us work out future numbers on preliminary estimates, not revised estimates. Am I making sense? Please do not depend upon the revised estimates for figuring out potential revenues. Ram
